I have been experimenting with human design in my life for several years and can I just say that my mind was blown with the accuracy of this modality. I actually had a hard time accepting my own design initially. I feel it can be really hard to dive so deeply into transformation and I felt scared. So, naturally I avoided myself and went right into looking at the charts of the people around me. I felt like the charts of my closet friends and families gave me this deep insight into who they are, what their strengths are, what alignment looks like for them, and I could so clearly see their highest potential. I then decided to dive back into my chart and really experiment with my strategy and authority. This is really where the magic happened with Human Design, the changes that came after still are a little wild to me! Through informing I felt more understood by the people around me, and instantly they were rallying their energy to support me. It's funny to think how much I was holding myself back from my highest potential from not informing (my strategy). Human design for me is this amazing tool that when used appropriately can be this key to unlock your true potential, and to be your authentic self. Think of it as a guidebook on how to use your energy in the most effective way to serve both yourself and others. In my experience it has been a little scary but also really liberating to have the freedom to be me and gave me courage to trust my unique inner guidance system. I feel like every line in every human design introduction starts with this phrase, "Human design is the science of differentiation." I have since come to love that quote because its true and beautifully stated. Human design is a science (which we will get into) but also it is a system that shows us all how we are different/unique and that we all operate in specific ways to fulfill our purpose here on Earth. This system is a synthesis of not only ancient wisdom but also modern science, combining elements of western astrology, the ancient Chinese I Ching (Book of Changes), the Kabbalah Tree of Life, and quantum physics. from all that in crazy in-depth information you get your user guide, an individualized blueprint of your unique energetic makeup, your inner guidance system, your unique strengths/gifts, and even insight into your diet. (and so much more!) Really the magic happens in Human Design when you truly understand your energetic type and you begin implementing your unique strategy and authority into your life. It's amazing to know all the intricate details of your chart but I highly suggest you begin with your type, strategy, and authority. After you have experimented with your strategy and authority, I would then suggest you dive into the deeper aspects. Type: Your type is really providing language around your energetic body or your aura! This is what people experience from you on a sub conscious level and is how you energetically interact with the world around you. There are five types in the Human Design System: 1. Manifestors, 2. Generators, 3. Manifesting generators, 4. Projectors, and 5. Reflectors. Each type has its own unique way of operating and interacting with others and the world around them. Strategy: Each type also has its own unique strategy that helps you align with your true path and purpose.
Manifestors: To inform, Generators: To respond, Manifesting Generators: To respond (it can also be helpful to inform because your energy moves so quickly!), Projectors: To wait for the invitation, and Reflectors: to wait a lunar cycle. Authority: Your authority is your inner guidance system. It is the way you are designed to make BIG life decisions and find clarity. There are 8 different authorities. 1. Emotional, 2. Sacral, 3. Splenic, 4. Self-projected (G center), 5. Ego projected, 6. Ego manifested, 7. Mental/Enviornmental, and 8. Lunar. Understanding your authority can help you make decisions that are in alignment with your true self and keep you on the correct trajectory of your unique life purpose. Profile: This is the part of your chart where it will have a combination of two numbers that represent the duality of your personality archetype. The top number is the number that YOU feel and see in yourself or think of it as the conscious aspect. The bottom number is the part that others see in you or think of this as the unconscious aspect of your personality. (Example: Lets take my profile 1/3 really quickly. I see myself as a 1-deeply empathetic and being an investigator, wanting to dive into all the knowledge that life has to offer. Others see the 3 side of me, this adventurous and jump in trial-and-error type person.) Now What: Here are a few tips to get started: 1. Embrace your uniqueness: Your human design is unique to you. Embrace your strengths, weaknesses, and quirks. Celebrate what makes you different and use it to your advantage. 2. Trust your inner guidance: Your authority is your inner compass. Trust it and follow its guidance. When you make decisions from a place of alignment, you will be on the path to unlocking your true potential. 3. Experiment and explore: Human design is a tool for self-discovery. Experiment with your strategy and authority. 4. Seek support and guidance: Human design can be complex and overwhelming at times. Seek support and guidance from a human design reader that you resonate with!
5. If something in your design does not resonate with you that is okay!! This whole system is meant to bring the power back to YOU to be your own authority and operate in a way that's best for YOU. Do not let anything take your authority away, not even human design. (I will say that the parts of my chart that I did not initially resonate with became areas that I did deeply resonate with once I began experimenting with my strategy and authority.) Remember, this is a journey. It is not an overnight transformation and that is okay, I feel there is so much beauty in the journey. It takes time, patience, and a whole lot of self-reflection. But I really feel that personally it is worth it and I hope you will feel the same.
Sending you SO much love and gratitude,
Em
